Table Mountain Regional Park

Utilizing a lateral moraine that remained after the last ice age, Table Mountain Regional Park offers excellent terrain for all levels of skiers and boarders. It is a 20-minute drive west of Battleford.

The hill, which rises more than 100 vertical meters, has two magic carpet rides and two quad chairlifts each of which is more than 2000 feet long. The terrain park, which is very popular with the younger crowd, features jumps from small to extra large.

In addition to the terrain park, there are nine runs, one of which is rated as a black diamond. It would be considered a short blue run in the mountains, but one must respect “Amisk” given the trees at its base. Table Mountain has two relatively easy green runs for beginners and a bunny hill where a person can learn to ski or board.

A ski-cross course, developed for the Saskatchewan winter games, has been recreated for the Western Canadian Ski Cross races.

The hill also has a very good lodge with a cafeteria and a bar/lounge and ski and board rentals. The Ski Patrol has a designated building which houses the Ski School as well.

With ample parking, the hill can accommodate over 1200 visitors a day. The view from the top of the hill over the surrounding countryside is outstanding.
