Mount Joy Snow Resort

Mount Joy Snow Resort began operating in 1966.  The volunteer staff has prided themselves on creating a safe, fun, family atmosphere for beginner skiers and snowboarders. It is a place where beginners can develop their skills, and the more advanced can master their art. Located 20 minutes south of Lloydminster, the Mount Joy Snow Resort has one T-bar and a rope tow to access 16 runs.

In 2017, Mount Joy turned soil on “Project Snow”, an initiative that has created infrastructure to make snow almost anywhere on the hill.  Snow conditions last year where fantastic and crews have worked hard to make them even better this year.  In 2018, Mount Joy Snow Resort certified four Canada Ski Patrol members to upgrade the level of first aid offered.  As we look forward to our next 53 years, Mount Joy continues to look for ways to improve its facilities and services.
