About Us
CSP Ontario Division is one of the nine territorial divisions of the Canadian Ski Patrol. The division is responsible for promoting the goals of the national organization as whole, down to the zone level.
Patrolling
Our members patrol in ski areas all across the province. This includes both downhill areas and cross-country areas. We patrol on downhill, cross-country and telemark skis, on snowboards, and in some areas on snow shoes or fat bikes. Please check our Zones tab for the hills/areas near you for locations to become a Canadian Ski Patroller.
Once you have joined up you will receive training in a number of areas to become a ski patroller. Our first aid program is WSIB accredited program and recognized across the province. You will also receive on-snow training that takes you through the equipment used to transport patients in your area, confirming your ski ability and working as a member of a team in a rescue. Once all the training has been completed successfully you receive your jacket, a graduation of sorts This is a proud moment for all of us- earning your jacket!
365 Team
We have members that are not patrollers on the hill, but are patrollers in the community/on the ground that help provide first aid at events across the province in all seasons. Our 365 patrol team work at bike races, marathon, skating competitions, hockey games and at major athletic events like the Pan-Am games, Provincial finals and much more! Our ski patrollers often help out at these events in their community since first aid does not change based on the season or the area within Ontario.
We are happy to meet with you online or have a phone conversation to explain things in more detail and answer any questions you have.
We look forward to hearing from you!
