Strong interest from across Canada and the program’s terrific value are driving registrations for the 2022 CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic to early record levels.

Week 2 of the event, set for February 6 to 11, 2022, sold out just three weeks after registrations opened on April 30. As of the end of May, registrations for Week 1 were climbing too. Two clinic weeks are offered, with Week 1 running January 23 to January 28, 2022 and Week 2 taking place February 6 to February 11, 2022. Each week can accommodate about 100 attendees.

The program for this legendary event includes four days of group lessons in either skiing or snowboarding, five days of lift access and a celebratory banquet on the Thursday night, all at the world-class venue of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

Attendees receive group ski or snowboard instruction for more than 20 hours across four days, in groups of comparable competency to optimize learning. There’s a full and fun social agenda, and attendees also have access to great discounts on food, retail goods, fine dining and many other offerings. Also, awesome swag! This event is a blast.

Pricing is very competitive, with the full program package of lifts, lessons and the banquet coming in at a very reasonable $611. It’s a one-per-cent increase from 2021 to reflect higher supplier costs. Pricing for accommodation (booked separately) is unchanged from that offered for the 2021, making this an incredible bargain.

The venue is amazing, the instruction is superb and the social atmosphere is unmatched. Don’t miss it. Although COVID-19 concerns are expected to have abated considerably by 2022, the 2022 event will adhere to contemporary B.C. Ministry of Health guidelines and requirements.

Event and registration information can be found on the CSP Mountain Division website, at https://www.skipatrol.ca/mountain/. Please make sure to book early to take advantage of this great event that brings patrollers, their friends, and their families together from across Canada for some superb instruction at an amazing mountain amid a terrific social atmosphere. This event has sold out each of the last three years and many years prior.
