He is an active instructor and trainer taking part in the preparation and execution of the yearly first aid training as well as on snow courses. He holds the position of assistant patrol leader at Mount Farlagne, as well as supply officer and is still involved with the critical incident stress management team … a very involved patroller!

Daniel is considered a pillar of the local patrol, North Border Zone (now Wabanaki Zone) and the Atlantic West Division.

964 – Edward Grant – Eastern Townships Zone
Over the years, Ted Grant has been active in his zone on an operational level as patrol leader at Owl’s Head Mountain, at the educational level as both a first aid and on-snow instructor and at an administrative level zone VP Finance.

Jodie is a valued and positive influence on the restructuring of the organization. He was instrumental in the development of the reporting hierarchy of the CSP moving from a single CEO to a two-person co-ED structure. Jodie was also influential in the modernization of the compensation committee in terms of the evaluation of staff and opening the process of evaluation to the whole board of directors. He was also an integral part in the development of the CSP’s strategic plan, and mission and values. Jodie applied his knowledge and background in hotel conference and events management to save the CSP thousands of dollars with the cancellation of conference costs as the pandemic took hold.

Jodie was responsible for the Volunteer for All Seasons strategy, a recruitment initiative to display a mannequin dressed in the official CSP uniform at a local sporting goods store This initiative has since expanded with the onboarding of Helly Hansen as a national sponsor and has resulted in mannequins being displayed in the official CSP uniform at Helly Hansen stores during International Ski Patrol Week.

967 – Natalie Everett – Muskoka Zone
Natalie’s dedicated efforts have moved the CSP forward area of eLearning. She has been the national eLearning coordinator since 2015, and has written scripts and narrated English modules for on snow, AFA and ICP modules, coordinated the uploading of all modules in French and English for online learning, and uploading of the eExams. Members of her team include division eLearning representatives and she supports them in their roles.

Natalie’s efforts have been instrumental in providing our members the option to study and learn from home and prepare for classroom sessions by completing online learning prior to arriving for class. Her outstanding dedication and countless hours spent on the eLearning side of our education portfolio is exemplary.
