There is an open call for volunteers to apply to help with the 2023 Alpine Snow TKO World Cup event on January 26-27, 2023 at Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario. If you’ve never been to an alpine snowboard race, you’ll want to consider helping with this event.
Alpine Snow TKO World Cup – what is it?
This FIS World Cup event showcases one of the snowboard disciplines – alpine speed.
These races are head-to-head knockout; the first to cross the line progresses to the next round until only one rider stands alone atop the podium with the victor’s belt held high.
It’s high speed, high excitement, and anything can happen.
Why volunteer?
- You love snowboarding.
- You’ve never been to an alpine snowboard race before.
- You love free swag.
- You love helping out at the grassroots level, supporting your regional young athletes and supporting world cup events in our great nation.
- You love fast-paced and action-packed race action on the snow.
Volunteer roles can include:
On hill | Off hill |
Start/finish | VIP concierge |
On course | Race office support |
Slipping | Registration support |
Gates | Event support (athlete lounge attendant, merchandise sales, etc.) |

CSP liability insurance does not cover any CSP member who chooses to volunteer at this event but they will be covered under Canada Snowboard’s CGL policy.
