You are invited to the 2023 Canada Winter Games. Confederation Zone welcomes you to the 2023 Canada Winter Games to be held on Prince Edward Island from February 18 to March 5, 2023. We are super excited about hosting the Games and are looking forward to celebrating the very best in Canadian sports while sharing our unique island spirit and hospitality with the entire nation.
Here on the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, the games will bring together 3,600 athletes, managers and coaches across 20 different sports for the largest multi-sport event in the country. This is a wonderful opportunity for patrollers from across Canada to be directly involved with this exciting event.
Aerials, slopestyle, ski cross, snowboard cross, and snowboard big air competitions will be held at our own Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale. Giant slalom, super-G and moguls competitions will be held at Crabbe Mountain hosted by our friends at Fundy Zone. All cross-country ski, biathlon and para cross-country events will be held at our top-rated Mark Arendz Nordic Facility.
This will be a very busy two weeks and an incredible experience in providing first aid and medical support to Canada’s best athletes, so we invite you to start thinking about how to include a trip east in your 2023 winter ski plans! Although details are still forthcoming, we hope to provide assistance in accommodation (hosting) and coordination for airport pickup and transportation to the site (located just 30 minutes from the city of Charlottetown).
