Time may have run out to be part of the 2020 CSP Mountain Division Ski Improvement Clinic, held at B.C.’s Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in January and February. The event offers five days of skiing, four days of group lessons, a banquet, a fabulous memento, and the ability to improve your skiing and riding in an unparalleled atmosphere. It’s an event that has drawn patrollers, their friends and family members from across Canada and around the world.
Demand for the 2020 event has been extraordinarily strong and registrations are running at record levels. Week 2 sold out in early November and as of December 10, Week 1 had only a few spots remaining. Overall, registrations are running above the 95 percentile of capacity. It’s our best attendance ever, after doubling our capacity to two weeks of 100 people each just three years ago.
Please don’t miss out on an event participants rave about and includes many, many returnees. Our greatest advocates are people who have already attended. It’s the perfect winter ski holiday with an awesome crowd on epic terrain at a world-class resort.
The clinic program is focused on ski and snowboard skills improvement in a positive, supportive and fun environment. Attendees receive group ski or snowboard instruction in groups of comparable competency to optimize learning, for in excess of 20 hours across four days. It’s incredibly effective – and at an incredible value.
The full package of lifts, lessons and the banquet for an adult is a very reasonable $585. Youth and child lift passes are also available. This is event is for families and friends, not just patrollers. Accommodation pricing has gone down slightly from the 2019 event, making this an incredible bargain.
Along with the amazing instruction, epic views and world-class terrain and snow, there’s a full and fun social agenda. Attendees also have access to great discounts on food, retail goods, fine dining and many other offerings.
Registration and event information can be found on the Mountain Division website at www.skipatrol.ca/mountain/. Book now to take advantage of this great event that brings patrollers, their friends and their families together from across Canada for some superb instruction at an amazing mountain amid a terrific social atmosphere.
