With summer now officially over and the preps well underway for another season of skiing and snowboarding, it’s time to turn our minds to that perfect winter ski holiday: the CSP Mountain Division’s legendary Ski Improvement Clinic in January and February 2020.
Although registrations have been strong, there’s still ample room for the 2020 clinic, which will be held at the world class Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, B.C. Two clinic weeks are on offer; Week 1 runs January 26 to January 31, 2020 and Week 2 unfolds February 9 to February 14, 2020.
The clinic program, focused on ski and snowboard skills improvement in a positive, supportive and fun environment, includes four days of group lessons in either skiing or snowboarding, five days of lift access and a celebratory banquet on the Thursday night, all at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Attendees receive group ski or snowboard instruction in groups of comparable competency to optimize learning, for in excess of 20 hours across four days. It’s incredibly effective – at an incredible value.
The 2019 event almost sold out, (and Week 2 was oversubscribed) so don’t wait too long and be disappointed.
Along with the amazing instruction, epic views and world-class terrain and snow, there’s a full and fun social agenda. Attendees also have access to great discounts on food, retail goods, fine dining and many other offerings. This event is a blast, with fans from across Canada and beyond that rave about their experience.
Event pricing reflects amazing value. The full package of lifts, lessons and the banquet for an adult is a very reasonable $585. Youth and child lift passes are also available. This is event is for families and friends, not just patrollers. Accommodation pricing has gone down slightly from the 2019 event, making this an incredible bargain.
Registration and event information can be found here. Book now to take advantage of this great event that brings patrollers, their friends and their families together from across Canada for some superb instruction at an amazing mountain amid a terrific social atmosphere. Inquiries can be directed to clinic organizer Geoff Scotton at geoffscotton@skipatrol.ca. Don’t miss it!
