If there’s one thing we all know about members of the Canadian Ski Patrol, they love swag.

Did you know that the word “swag,” according to Wikipedia, “…is actually an acronym for “Stuff We All Get,” originated from the .com years where companies used these give-away items as promotional mechanisms. An alternative implying highly desirable give-aways not given to all attendees is “Stuff We Ain’t Got.”

In this particular case, the “stuff we ain’t got” is a library of high-resolution, quality photographs and short videos of patrollers in action. We have a large archive of our members in the old yellow and blue uniform, but very few showing patrollers at work and play in red and black.

This photo contest aims to change this. We need your best photos and short videos. And, thanks to several of our national pro deal sponsors, we are willing to entice all active members to participate by offering some terrific, swag-related prizes.

The steps to participate are simple:

  1. Read the rules and regulations on our website.
  2. Submit your photo(s) and video(s) between November 15, 2018 and May 15, 2019 to contest@skipatrol.ca
  3. Win prizes
