Kerri joined the CSP in 2015 to share her love and excitement for winter. She patrols at Boler Mountain in London, Ontario - the most southern alpine ski centre in Canada. Kerri learned how to snowboard much later than many of her fellow patrollers - at the age of 26. Having been patroller as a snowboarder for three seasons, Kerri decided she wanted to be qualified to patrol on skis as well. In December of 2018 she started learning to ski, and was qualified to patrol in January 2020.
As a member in Western Zone, she provided marketing and communications support. Then in 2021 she was selected as the communications and marketing portfolio leader at the national level, which overseas many facets of the CSP including the public and member websites, newsletters, uniforms, pro deal partnerships, social media and also supports the training and development portfolio extensively. She is also a member of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee and she is a Board Director for Boler Mountain.
In 2024, Kerri became an instructor as part of the CSP Instructor Certification Program, and she has been recognized with national awards John D Harper Lifesaving Award in 2023 and the National Appreciation Award in 2024.
Kerri's professional experience spans 20 years in marketing and communications at agencies in Canada and Australia, with a special focus on not-for-profits as well as educational institutions.
