8 easy steps this year, all online:
- Step 1. Update your Profile ensuring email, phone numbers etc. are up to date. (See instructions & link below.)
Step 2. Select your Courses
Step 3. Validate your Area
Step 4. Verify and confirm your KZ waivers
Step 5. Verify your jacket selection or renewal
Step 6. Accept CSP Jacket Agreement
Step 7. Make additional purchases and/or donate to the Canadian Ski Council
Step 8. Pay via PayPal’s secure online payment system using your credit card, or your existing PayPal account

- Returning Patrollers – You must select an AFA/CPR requalification course day (Option 1, 2 or 3) after completing all the e-Learning modules.
- New Incoming Patrollers – You will have one course option to choose from which includes all your testing.
Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
All Kawartha Zone Patrollers will require a PVSC. It is necessary for the police check to be completed in the jurisdiction of your main residence in order for the vulnerable sector check to be valid. Kawartha Zone can provide you with a Volunteer Letter that may allow you to receive a lower price to get a PVSC completed by your local Police Services. If you require this letter please contact Robert Northmore at robert.northmore@skipatrol.ca to have this letter prepared and emailed to you.
2024-2025 Registration
Follow these instructions to link to our online registration process. In order to register online you will need to have an active ID number, a CSP ID Number assigned to you;
** New patrollers please follow the instructions on the “Begin Registration” button below.
** Patrollers from another Zone wishing to transfer to Kawartha Zone, please contact your current Zone Administrator and request they transfer your profile to Kawartha Zone. Contact robert.northmore@skipatrol.ca
**Past Patrollers returning from a Leave of Absence or Sabbatical please send an email to our Registration Coordinator and they will reactivate your profile and your patroller id number.

Prior to clicking below please go to the National Yeti database . After logging into the National Yeti Database , we ask you to review your profile and make sure all your personal information is up-to-date. Once you have finished reviewing and updating your profile, please return back to here.
SPECIAL NOTE: Instructor courses are labelled and should only be selected if you are an active Instructor.

2024-2025 On Snow Rescue Program (OSR):
The OSR program will Open October 1st, 2024 and stay Open until December 1, 2024. The fee for the current season is $200.00 and is not prorated. These fees cover the current winter season. Next fall you will need to register like all patrollers do each year and you will then be required to pay for next season’s New Patroller Regular registration fee depending on when you register.

Refund Policy
A Minimum $25.00 cancellation fee applies.
Returning Patrollers:
- Refresher Course
- 100% (less cancellation fee) prior to the first day of training.
- 75% after the first night/day of training or prior to the end of the second week of training.
- 0% after the end of the second night/day of the training course.
- Recertification
- 100% (less cancellation fee) prior to the first day of testing.
- 50% (less cancellation fee) after AFATR testing and before diagnostic.
- 0% after completion of diagnostic testing
First Year (Rookie) Patrollers:
- All Rookie course formats
- 100% (less cancellation fee) prior to the first night /day of training.
- Subject to returning all unused supplies after the first night/day of training or prior to the end of the second week of training, 100% (less cancellation fee) and the cost of any supplies that are not suitable for return. (The first-aid kit is valued at $50.00)
- The only item that will be considered for reimbursement after this point will be the first-aid kit – $50.00.
On Snow First Patrollers:
You registration fee must be paid and your Liability Waiver handed in prior to testing
- 100% (less cancellation fee) prior to Ski Ability Test.
- 100% (less cancellation fee) if you do not pass the Ski Ability Test.
- 0% if you pass the Ski Ability Test and start toboggan training.
