Sam joined the Canadian Ski Patrol in 2003 in Gatineau zone where he continues to be an active member. Sam was an associate instructor for many years, and more recently is an Instructor and has participated as Zone secretary as well as a member of the executive.
Sam has over 25 years experience as a leader with a focus on security software fostering worldwide customer and partner relationships. In 2023, he retired as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Certificate Solutions at Entrust. During his time at Entrust, he held senior management positions in sales, channel programs and operations, including Vice President Operations, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
He received a bachelor of science degree in Physics from the University of Waterloo, a Masters in Instrumentation Physics from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration in International Business and Finance from York University’s Schulich School of Business.
Sam patrols at Mont-Tremblant, and is delighted to be a director on the Canadian Ski Patrol board and sees the CSP leveraging technology as well as having a more active role in prevention.
